Many of my photos are taken here in western Montana, but also around the world. I love being outdoors. I hike, bike, fish, hunt, ski and ALWAYS take photos. I use a Canon 7D and 5D Mark III (with a few lenses and tripods) and shoot in RAW. I process my photos into JPG with Adobe Lightroom with as few adjustments as possible.

Bitterroot River Fall 2012

Middle Bitterroot in mid-October. We started at Bell Crossing north of Victor in mid-morning when it was a bit cloudy/moody. As the day progressed, the clouds burned off to partly cloudy and finally sunny when we took out at Stevensville Bridge around 4 pm.

Bell Crossing Bridge looking back (up-river) to the southwest. It was mid-morning and the clouds burned off towards the end of the day making for a variety of lighting and photo opportunities.
