Many of my photos are taken here in western Montana, but also around the world. I love being outdoors. I hike, bike, fish, hunt, ski and ALWAYS take photos. I use a Canon 7D and 5D Mark III (with a few lenses and tripods) and shoot in RAW. I process my photos into JPG with Adobe Lightroom with as few adjustments as possible.

Mule deer in winter

LOTS of mule deer this winter in the Bitterroots near Bear, Gash and Sweathouse Creek. This family, doe on the ground and two fawns, were up Bear Creek almost to the Y in the road going to Bear Creek overlook and Gash Creek. Good xc skiing, too, which is why we were up there. Nice to share it with these critters. Also saw a young female moose across the road and up the mountains a little way. Great day.
