Many of my photos are taken here in western Montana, but also around the world. I love being outdoors. I hike, bike, fish, hunt, ski and ALWAYS take photos. I use a Canon 7D and 5D Mark III (with a few lenses and tripods) and shoot in RAW. I process my photos into JPG with Adobe Lightroom with as few adjustments as possible.

Black Bear in a pond

I saw a patch of fur slide through the very long grass and into the large pond on Pauline Creek. I thought it was a deer. Then…I saw the ears and snout come out of the water. This Cinnamon colored Black Bear gracefully dove in and proceeded to take a bath, dig up weeds, dunk itself, splash, do somersaults and play. More photos coming - should be about 11 total.
