The MPAA is made up of some of the finest western artists in the northwest. Our work features the western way of life in oil paintings, pastels, watercolor, photography and bronzes. Portraying western characters, Native Americans, wildlife and western landscapes, these Montana artists can be found in galleries and western art shows throughout the United States.
The Skalkaho Highway is a forty-five mile drive that runs between the Bitterroot Valley and the Philipsburg Valley, in the Sapphire Mountains in southwest Montana. Skalkaho Pass is 7,248 elevation. The boardwalk is making a walkway through a peat bog to Mud Lake.
